If J.Lo and Ben Affleck haven’t made it clear, they are madly, deeply divorced. He is going through a hair renaissance; she is talking about “lessons” and wearing T-shirts with pointed messages about her mood. And yet, for two people exhibiting such intensely broken-up behavior, they do quite a bit of running into each other. On Friday, they found themselves in the same L.A. parking lot for at least the third time this fall, attending some unspecified Brentwood event with their kids. Affleck arrived with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their 15-year-old, Seraphina, while J.Lo brought along her 16-year-old, Emme, and two friends.
This is not the first time the couple formerly known as Bennifer has crossed paths postdivorce. In September, “Page Six” captured them passing through the same office building 30 minutes apart. They reunited (on purpose, it seems) for brunch with their kids and for a back-to-school night earlier this fall, where sources claim they were “totally cool with each other.” Based on the way everyone was dressed on Friday night, I strongly suspect the gathering was a school event too. Give those teachers a law degree in celebrity-divorce mediation.
