Dr Richard grew up in Worthington and graduated from Otterbein College. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his Family Practice residency at Grant Medical Center. Dr. Richard is board certified in Family Practice, is a member of the American Board of Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr Richard has been recognized by the National Committee of Quality Assurance for his excellence in the care of the diabetic and stroke patients. He is Medical Director at a local nursing home and also donates his time to the Free Clinic and the teaching of medical students.
